Support & Wellbeing

We understand that coming to university can be challenging, and there are many sources of support both within DLL and provided across the University.

The really important thing is to let us know as early as possible if you think you might be struggling with your course - whatever the cause.  Please do contact your Personal Tutor or your Student Support and Welfare Team. We would rather you came to us with a small problem than wait until it gets bigger.

A good place to seek support is the Student Services Information Desk (SSiD). The service is main point of contact for general student-related enquiries from a central location in the Students' Union building.

We also recognise that starting university can be a socially daunting experience. If you would like to meet new people, try something new, or simply see what's available, the place to visit is the student societies page on the Students' Union website.
