Qualifications -  NCEA Level 2 - 3

At St Hilda's we offer two levels of NCEA certificate (2 and 3). At each level, learners must achieve a certain number of credits to gain the NCEA certificate. Credits for a level certificate can be gained over more than one year. See the NZQA website for full details.

Learners are required to achieve Numeracy and Literacy co-requisites as part of gaining their NCEA qualification, including University Entrance (UE) at Level 3.

Most subjects offered in 2025 at this school will have a mix of internally assessed and externally assessed components.

External assessment for achievement standards will be by way of a national examination in November, or by way of external achievement standards that are moderated nationally.
