Polos should be worn tucked into long shorts or pants with belt loops, that have no holes or fraying
Polos must tucked in and worn with a conservative belt
Close-toed shoes must be worn with this uniform
Jackets must be zip-up and expose your polo shirt (hoodies are never permitted).
Grooming standards are required
Wash your polo shirt as usual.
The ABU beige shirt must be tucked into the ABU pants and the provided belt
The blouse (the overcoat) should be worn at all times, with all buttons secured with the exception of the top button
Pant legs should be secured in the ABU boots provided at all times
ABU boots should be laced properly with laces tucked into the boots
For Enlisted and Officer Cadets: Insignia will be placed in the center of the collar while parallel to the ground.
Wash your ABU uniform (pants, undershirt, and blouse) as usual.
Officer Insignia will be centered on the ABU cover. Enlisted cadets may not place insignia on cover
Cover must be worn when cadet is not inside or directly under a outside covering
Roll your sleeves in accordance to the video provided. Do not roll them in any other manner.
When sleeves are rolled, they should never touch your elbow.
The blue service undershirt must be tucked into the blues pants neatly, secured with the issued belt (Male cadets: Insert the head of your belt to the left. For female cadets: Insert the head of your belt to the right)
Service uniform EXCLUDES the outer coat
Wear the provided black socks and provided shoes, ensure shoes are properly shined
If you are wearing the tie/tie tab, the topmost button should be buttoned
If no tie/tie tab is required, leave the topmost button undone
Wash your blue undershirt as usual. Take pants to the dry cleaners when dirty.
Service Uniform Tip: Make sure your "Gig Line" is always in check before uniform inspection. The Gig Line is the alignment of your shirt (the line created by buttoning your shirt), the alignment of your belt (the line created by the belt buckle and the belt tip), and the line of your pants zipper.
For Enlisted Cadets: While wearing Service Uniform wear insignia centered on the collar, with the edges resting on the seams. The tip of the insignia should point to the point of the collar.
For Officer Cadets: While wearing Service Uniform, epaulets should be worn.
The LWBJ can be worn anytime Service Uniform is permitted unless specified otherwise. The LWBJ can only be worn with the sleeves pulled all the way down (you may not roll/pull the sleeves up, tie it around your waist, etc.). When wearing the LWBJ, zip up the jacket 3/4 of the way. While shoulder tabs are permitted to be worn on the right shoulder, ropes, ribbons, and other awards are not to be worn on this coat.
For Enlisted & Officer Cadets: Wear insignia centered horizontally on the collar, with insignia placed 1 inch from the bottom of the collar, and its edges parallel to the outer edge of the collar.
Note: Officer Cadets may not wear epaulets on the coat.
Take LWBJ to dry cleaners when dirty.

Service dress INCLUDES the outer coat, all three buttons must be buttoned

For Enlisted & Officer Cadets: Place insignia halfway up the seam, with the edge of the insignia resting on but not over the seam. The bottom of the insignia should be horizontal with the ground.
With the exception of the blue undershirt, take the uniform to the dry cleaners when dirty.
