Tutors

Every student at SGS Sixth Form is allocated a Tutor. The Sixth Form Tutor is there to provide support and guidance on a regular basis. Among many other duties, tutors provide key personal references as part of the UCAS application process as well as for potential employees or further education institutions. They also provide one-to-one support on a regular basis during tutor-student meetings. During these discussions, students are expected to keep their tutor updated with career plans, academic progress and any personal issues they wish to discuss.
