Hello,

My name is Martina Kunzler and I'm looking forward to another successful year at SGM. I was born and raised near Chicago, IL and earned my teaching degree from Concordia University Chicago. After teaching 3rd grade for two years near my childhood home, I moved to Wisconsin and married my husband, Aaron. I then taught in Milwaukee Public schools for 7 years.  When our family started growing, I left full-time teaching. During those years, God blessed me with several different opportunities to work in education while spending more time with my kids. In 2019 our family relocated to Missouri. The year after we moved, I taught 4th grade, and then moved to 5th grade the following year. Before coming to SGM I was the middle school math teacher at St. Mark’s in Eureka. My husband and I have been blessed with 4 children. This year our two oldest are in college, one is in high school, and one in 8th grade. Our five year old cat is named Snickers. My favorite subject has always been math, my favorite food is nachos, and my favorite animals are horses. I love Jesus, and enjoy swimming, hiking, going for walks and watching the Chicago Cubs. I’m looking forward to a great year of learning math, growing in faith, and having fun!
