Hello! I'm Mrs. Moser. I am excited to join the SGM middle school team this year!
Before moving to St. Louis, I grew up in the Metro Deroit Area. I left the city and moved to the cornfields of Indiana to get my bachelor's degree in environmental science from Taylor University. While in Indiana, I worked as a naturalist for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. At my state park I was responsible for all of the educational programming. I loved hosting 'bison babbles', 'owl prowls', and 'creature features'.
In 2022, my husband and I moved to St. Louis when he got a job working with the middle school youth group at our church. Shortly after moving to the area, I started working as an educator at the St. Louis Zoo. I enjoyed chilling with the penguins and swimming with the stingrays.
Although I loved my time working in conservation, I knew that God was calling me to the classroom. This is now my second year of teaching and I will graduate with my master's degree in teaching from Fontbonne University this spring.
In my free time I enjoy volunteering with my church's youth group as a small group leader. I also enjoy hiking, fishing, birdwatching, and spending time in God's creation.
