Preparing for the Manifestation Determination Conference 

• Ensure all parent information is accurate in Powerschool Special Programs prior to generating the Notice of Case Conference.

• Generate a Notice of Case Conference with the agreed upon time and date.  On the Notice of Case Conference set the meeting purpose to "Manifestation Determination". Change the status of the Notice to "Review" and send home to the family. Once the family has signed the Notice, change the status to "Final". 

• Gather Existing Data (Progress Monitoring Data) and Present Level Information prior to the meeting to review during the conference. 

When setting the meeting purpose to "Manifestation Determination" you will notice when you hover over "Cover Page" that below "Special Considerations & Behavior" there is another page titled "Manifestation Determination Review".
