ABIGAIL FREDERICK

My old high school was very limited in giving me the support I needed and saw me as just a number on a page. I wanted a different experience and wanted to please myself because I wanted to graduate and go forward in my career.

I am now in community college going into nursing, and with this success under my belt I have the confidence and motivation to succeed again!  With the help of my parents and boyfriend, I was able to do this. I couldn’t have done it without the support of the Director of Asher, Renae Gowen, who helped me by being there for me and treating me as an individual and not just another student.

I am proud of myself because I didn't give up! For a long while I thought I'd never make it but I'm glad I kept going! Earning my diploma made me feel like I could actually accomplish things and move forward in my life. It gave me the confidence to keep moving and trying because I now know I can make it in the end.

JOSE CASTRO-MACIAS, JR

Atlas was the best choice for me, because I did not have the money to pay for online classes and I couldn’t go back to school in person because of my age. They presented themselves better than any other online school that I have heard of. Atlas fit the description with everything I needed. My future holds so many great opportunities since I have received my diploma. I can now go to trade schools that I want to. I am starting my career and can do bigger things that I could have never imagined.

My biggest supporter was my teacher, Ms. Otterstetter. She has been here for me since day one and I appreciate her so much. She has supported me in every way possible. She was there day and night if I had questions or concerns. She was always persistent to get me to complete my classes and making sure I had them done in time to get to graduation.

Earning my diploma has been the best thing that I have done in my life. Knowing that I accomplished something so great is fantastic and I still can’t believe I did it! Since then I have accomplished so many great things. I am starting my life and living it how I want to.

BRANDON DONELSON

Brandon is a 2024 Atlas Graduate from Asher. Brandon graduated with honors and earned the Principal’s Award for his dedication to success!

My biggest supporters have been my mother, my grandma, and my grandpa. They motivated me to keep working even when it got hard.

Now that I have my diploma, I plan to go into construction and work hard for the future of my family.
