Chief Patricia Schipp enlisted in the United States Navy from her hometown of Aitkin, Minnesota at the young age of 17.   As a Radioman and later an Information Systems Technician, she served in various locations to include Italy and Hawaii.  Chief retired from the Navy after serving twenty-two years and immediately began her second career as a Naval Science Instructor for NJROTC.  

Chief first worked at North Chicago Community High School in North Chicago, IL from 2001 - 2010 and then after a short break, started with Santa Fe HS in 2011.  

In her spare time, Chief Schipp enjoys camping, hiking, country music, traveling, reading, and on occasion, binging Netflix.  She has 2 children and seven grandchildren who are the best thing that ever happened to her.  Chief Schipp is equally passionate about life, her faith and NJROTC.
