Each year, we make every effort to offer a week-long orientation trip to San Diego, California over spring break.  The trip can include visits to locations such as military bases with ship and helicopter squadron tours, a trip to Cabrillo National Monument and Tide Pools, the USS Midway museum ship, the San Diego Zoo, a beach day, and of course Disneyland.  

Traditionally cadets pay half of the total trip cost, and the unit covers the other half (from fundraising).

An informational letter providing cadet cost, amount of deposit and deposit due dates will be sent out to cadets/families before winter break.  We usually begin accepting deposits after we return to school in the new year.

As we begin accepting deposits, required paperwork, packing lists and other information will be sent home with cadets, and will also be available on this page.

Tentative Dates for 2025/2026 California Trip:  March 28 - April 05, 2026 

Definite departure dates will be dependent on if we qualify for Air Rifle Nationals
