I completed seven years of volunteering for Tamil manram and decided to contest for the Treasurer position this year.

GOAL

  Tamil Cultural Center fundraising ONE MILLION IN ONE YEAR

  -   Set up a crowdfunding committee to make EC form a plan and raise funds regularly,

      knock on every door and pitch every forum.

  -   TCC should work to get all Tamil under one umbrella.

 -    Conduct events at minimum cost and get maximum engagement by members.

  -   Get every family in the Bay Area to Tamil manram and make them contribute to at least one event a year.

   -   regular engagement event (Karaoke/talk show) with members' family to help TCC fundraising

  -    Special interest group, தமிழ் சந்தை for woman retailers.

    CONDUCTED AN EVENT OUTSIDE OF BATM; TALENTS ENTERED GLOBAL PLATFORM.  

Volunteer:

 - Led a short film contest for children for BATM and led outdoor Pongal in 2020 and 2023.

- helped in creating videos for Tamil manram sponsor in 2019

- FETNA transport committee

- helped with sound engineering, backstage, etc. Membership drive: more than 100 families have become members through me.
