Advocates for Student Privacy
Teaches and promotes student data and privacy through his or her instruction and role as an educational leader.
Current Status:
Network Administrator and Technology Staff keep our students access secure in multiple ways. The student launch page on their Chromebook is their secure portal.
Computer Science standards address student privacy. Lessons teach students how to keep their information private.
Collaboration in this area takes place:
School Board regularly reviews policies and procedures
District Administrative Team, Technology Department, and computer science committee.
School Counselors in each building advocate for student privacy and confidentiality, as well as incorporating this into their curriculum
Growth Initiatives:
Consistent new staff training, especially for hires throughout the school year
Continually review District Technology Policies, Procedures, and Protecting Student Privacy
