Food. You either hate it or love it. Regardless, it’s a necessity for survival. However, food should be more tasty than it is for our longevity, right? But you may be saying to yourself, that good, tasty food can be extremely difficult to find, especially on a late night out with the homies. But hold your horses, we got your back! We interviewed two members from Sewanhaka High School. The first is a classmate, more particularly, a food connoisseur, while the second member is our new school principal, Mr. Kenny.
Claude Josias-Sayi, a junior at Sewanhaka High School and also a member of the Varsity Volleyball team, has some of his recommendations for restaurants to eat at. His top three favorites are BBQ Nite, Taco Bell, and either Checkers or Halal-N-Out. “BBQ Nite’s Zinger Burger is so good,” he exclaims. He was “in shock” when he first tried it and saw how massive the burger was. “With a $7 craving box, you just can’t go wrong,” he says. At Checkers, he loves the Caramel Fudge Sundae, and at Halal-N-Out, the chicken over rice sure is the bomb. Our other friend, Yousuf Shahzad, a junior at Sewanhaka on the JV Volleyball team, loves to eat at Wingstop and Dave’s Hot Chicken. “I just love the Hot Honey Rub seasoned fries at Wingstop and their corn. It’s just beautiful.”
Our new school principal has some more places to add to the list as well. First off, he would like to say that his all-time favorite is King Umbertos. “There’s nothing better than the Fried Cappelini, which might be my favorite food in the whole wide world.” His other favorite foods are burgers and he loves The Rex and Smash Burger for places to eat around our area. “One of our parents from Sewanhaka also manages the place” (The Rex).
I don’t know about you, but Muhammad and I are super hungry right now. Check out the places that were listed above, you won’t be disappointed. You and the rest of your homies don’t have to go to bed starving anymore!
