The Greater Cleveland Food Bank is now accepting applications for our 2025–2026 Student Ambassador Program and we would love your help in identifying interested students and encouraging them to apply!
This program is open to high school students in our six-county service area who are passionate about giving back, raising awareness about food insecurity, and making a difference in their communities. This year, we are focusing on advocacy and will provide students with opportunities to engage with elected officials and complete an advocacy project related to combatting food insecurity. This program is a great resume booster and an exciting way to develop the skills of Cleveland’s future leaders and advocates!
In this program, students will:
Have hands-on volunteer experiences
Receive hunger education and advocacy training
Lead a hunger-related awareness project in their school or community
Have opportunities to meet and speak with policymakers
Earn community service hours and a Student Ambassador Certificate from GCFB
Please share the flyer and application with students who may be interested. Students can apply here! Student Ambassador Program Application 2025-2026
Applications are due by September 17th and the Parent/Guardian Consent and School Authorization Forms are due by September 22nd.
Thank you for spreading the word! If you have any questions, please contact Bella Smith at bsmith@clevelandfoodbank.org or 216.704.0844.
