The Labre Ministry involves students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends in serving the immediate needs of the poor every Thursday. Named after St. Benedict Joseph Labre, it allows students to experience the struggles of the homeless by preparing and delivering food, clothing, and hygiene kits. Students can also support the ministry by helping with the preparation of the food bags that go out as well as volunteering to bake cookies, make sandwiches, or prepare soup. Our on-campus garden is a social enterprise where funds and produce are donated to charity.  We are seeking seasonal help to tend the garden as well as assist with Farmer's Markets.  In addition, FarmstED meets during Community Period. Eagle Study is a peer tutoring program on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school, and during Community Period B. Students from all grade levels are welcome to volunteer. Contact Ms. Holly McTernan at hmcternan@sehs.net.

Time sensitive and during Community Period!  Meet at 12:05pm (no later!) in K3 and then hop in the school van to drive off campus one minute west of St. Ed's to the Southwesterly where students will deliver bags of groceries to residents. Help fill the food donation boxes located at various sites, including in front of the school on Detroit Road, St. Luke’s, Lakewood United Methodist Church, and Rocky River Rockport United Methodist. Contact Mrs. McGee for more information. This service can be done anytime.

Help us stock this special library with books donated from the community. Contact Mrs. Ventura for more information. This service can be done anytime throughout the year.
