Ms. Alcos is a homegrown educator that has been leading the Business Pathway at Waianae High School since 2017. Aside from teaching, she advises her school's DECA Club that aims to prepare emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in the areas of marketing, finance, hospitality and management.

Since 2018, Ms. Alcos has sat as a board member for the Hawaii Association of Career and Technical Education which seeks to promote career readiness among the different pathways. Beginning in 2022, Ms. Alcos will serve under her newly elected position as the State CTE Division Vice President for Business & Marketing.

Ms. Alcos hopes to continue to promote career readiness among her CTE students so that more job vacancies can be filled with outstanding qualified candidates who love their career. In her spare time, Ms. Alcos enjoys playing volleyball and finding new restaurants to explore with her two daughters.
