AP Chemistry Adoption
SDUHSD AP Chemistry teachers have adopted Cengage's/National Geographic's Chemistry: AP Edition (10th edition revised) by Zumdahl, effective in the 2022-2023 school year. Instructions for accessing the materials online via the OWL platform and obtaining support are included below.
Teacher Registration/Login
Register at this link (select your school): https://k12.cengage.com/rostering/Registration/Teacher/NrPiMDxq
Click on "Create Course" and select Chemistry, AP Edition Update (by Steven S. Zumdahl) using OWLv2
Click next, then type a course name (indicate class period to distinguish between classes)
Select start and end dates .
Click off "Limit Open Enrollment" if you want students to be able to enroll after start date.
Confirm information is correct.
Repeat the above steps for each course section.
Student Registration/Login
Teachers can share a course code/key via Google Classroom for students to be able to login into the OWL platform.
