Linked Learning Cohort

I felt inspired by my fellow cohort members for their perseverance, kindness, and sympathy; my professors for seeing my potential and helping me reach it; my guide teacher for supporting me through the good and the "bad" times; my students for having my back while filming for the edTPA; and the staff at my school site for welcoming me with open arms.

I have learned that I can make 24 hours feel like 48 hours. What I mean is that, I have learned that I can accomplish more in one day than I had ever imagined.

I have learned to empower our students to become critical thinkers and global citizens, where they learn to take a stand and let their voices be heard.

I sat my 10th graders down, literally, in a restorative circle and we talked about R-E-S-P-E-C-T. In an empty dance room. We did not dance.
