PARKING on CAMPUS
Parking on Campus for FIRST YEAR STUDENTS
SDSU does not allow First-Year students who are living in the dorms to purchase overnight parking passes.
There are a few exceptions that can be made for this; medical exemption, extenuating circumstance, etc. If you feel it is necessary that you have a car on campus as a first-year who is living in the dorms, please use the website below to locate "First-Year Resident Parking" to find the directions on how to appeal and file a waiver for this requirement through Parking Services.
ATHLETES do NOT get an exception to this policy.
Parking on Campus for TRANSFERS
For transfer students, parking passes can be purchased online through the Parking Portal.
Parking on Campus during the SUMMER
If you are an athlete who arrives early in the summer for their sport
No incoming freshman is authorized to bring a vehicle to campus even during the summer.
If they have a camp, training or practice of any kind before classes begin they are still considered incoming freshmen and athletics cannot waive the parking restrictions.
Transfer Students may purchase a summer parking permit on their Parking Portal
