Direct Deposit and Athletic Aid
HOW TO SET UP DIRECT DEPOSIT
(For Athletic Scholarship Students)
San Diego State University ONLY provides refunds, credits, and any monies to be paid out to students via Direct Deposit. This means that in order to receive any scholarship payments, you need to get your direct deposit information set up once you have been admitted.
First login to your My.SDSU account
Click on the Financial Aid tile
Select Enroll in Direct Deposit.
Enter the appropriate information in the following fields (screenshot below):
Account Type (Checking or Savings)
Routing Number
Account Number
Confirm Account Number
Acknowledgement of Terms & Conditions
Use the Submit button to complete the process.
Parents who wish to help make payments and to be added to Financial account as an "Alternate Payer":

ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIP
You will be notified when you need to sign your athletic aid contract.. To sign this scholarship agreement, login to your ARMS account using your SDSUid login information. Once logged in, navigate to "Forms Hub" under the "My ARMS" tab, then click the "Needs My Attention" button towards the middle of the screen. Here you will find the aid contract that needs to be signed. You will only need to complete this step if you've received a notification to do so.
