It was a very intruging experience to attend the little welcoming highschool L.V.Rogers in the west Kootenay region of British Columbia. I had a veriaty of different fascinating courses and teachers.
First Semester
In the first semester, I was able to enroll for Math 10, Social Studies 9, Metal Fabrication 10 and Foods and Nutrition 11/12. The diversity and contrast of these subjects was unique. I got to know many new people and learned to cook and weld by their side. Social Studies 9 delievered me a great little insight to aboriginal education. Metal Fabrication 10 was a very original class, in which I learned many working skills, like welding and plasma cutting. We were a very small class of around 9 people in Foods 11/12, which was wonderfull, because we got to know us better. Also, it was great to advance my cooking skill, especially within a group of friends.
Second Semester
My subjects in the second semester were English 10, Science 10, Physical Education 10 and Media Arts 10. Again very contrasting courses. In English 10 my english skills were polished and oiled, whereas, in science 10 my knowledge got nutured and difficult terms were memorized. My physical fitness and endurance got tested in P.E. 10. That leaves Media Arts, a truly amazing subject with a range of traits...
