Jazz Band

Lambrick Park High School offers 2 levels of Jazz Band. Both bands rehearse outside of regular school hours. The Jazz Bands will be open to those students who are regular members of at least one Concert Band or at the discretion of the band director. Participation in each of the bands includes all regular rehearsals as well as scheduled extra-curricular performances. Students will study and perform swing, Latin, blues, funk, be-bop and rock styles in a traditional “Big Band” setting and will be encouraged to practice and develop the art of improvisation.
