Concert Band

Concert Band rehearses during regular school hours. This course is “backed” with P.E. for Junior students and English for Senior students allowing students the maximum number of course options and credits per year. Students will continue to develop their technique, musicianship and music theory. In addition, students will be given the opportunity to explore new instruments and develop basic conducting skills. Concert Band at Lambrick Park offers students an opportunity to explore music and enhance the life skills associated with music such as creativity, problem solving and group dynamics. There are several opportunities to perform with this groups in concerts and festival settings per year as well as group travel.
