Play around with the PhET Simulation "Waves Intro". Try to determine what is similar about each type of wave. (water, sound, light).
Fill out the lecture note using my video.
Attempt the problem set. Check your answers and submit for completion marks.

Mr. P describes the two main types of waves, transverse and longitudinal.

Waves IntroMake waves with a dripping faucet, audio speaker, or laser! Adjust frequency and amplitude, and observe the effects. Hear the sound produced by the speaker, and discover what determines the color of light.

Bill Nye - Waves

Recommend watching at least the first 10 minutes. Listen for the terms "wavelength", "frequency" and "amplitude". Note that the video actually ends at about 20:00 minutes.
