Students will be able to:
Model, analyze and solve projectile motion problems using a culmination of UAM equations, vectors and physics intuition.
Converse with others about the patterns and assumptions made when approaching projectile motion problems.
Watch the 1.8 lecture video and copy into your notes. Compile any relevant questions for Mr. DePo and the class.
(Optional): Watch the Horizontal Velocity Demo video to be convinced that for projectiles, velocity in the x-direction remains constant for the duration of the motion.
Attempt only three problems from both problem sets. Mr. DePo will post a video tutorial for one or more of the questions from 1.8b problem set.
Submit both problem sets for grading.
