STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO PREPARE ALL MUSIC PRIOR TO ARRIVAL AT THE FESTIVAL.

STUDENT TRANSPORTATION

All participating students will need to have their own transportation to/from Bednarcik JHS.

CONCERT ATTIRE

School Band Uniform

Student may wear comfortable clothing all day and change into concert clothing .

ALL BAND STUDENTS MUST BRING 

INSTRUMENT, MUSIC, & A PENCIL. 

Be sure to label all stands and instruments with student and school names.  Percussionists need to bring their own mallets and sticks.

MEALS

Students will eat dinner on Friday at Bednarcik and lunch on Saturday at the Festival. The menu on Friday is Pizza, drinks & cookies. The menu on Saturday is chicken wings, potato wedges, and salad.

There will be a $25 charge for each student to pay for meals and music expenses.

INSTRUMENT REPAIRS

A light emergency repair service will be available in the Commons/Cafeteria provided by PM Music Company. 

ADMISSION TO THE CONCERT

The concert will be held in Bednarcik JHS Cafeteria/Auditorium.

There will be a $3.00 admission charge, with children under 12 receiving free admission. The doors for the concert will open at 1:15 p.m., and the concert will begin at 2:00 p.m. The concert should conclude no later than 3:00 p.m.

Friday

3:30 pm, Meeting for students at Traughber Band Room

4:00-5:30 pm, Sectional Rehearsals I

5:30-6:15 pm, Dinner

Break

6:15pm-8:00 pm, Sectional Rehearsals II

*Rehearsal breaks will be at the discretion of the directors

Saturday

8:30 am, Meeting in Traughber Band Room

8:45am-12:00pm, Full Band Rehearsal

12:00-1:00pm, Lunch and Change into Concert Clothing

1:00-2:00pm, Final Rehearsal

2:00 pm, Concert
