Course Overview:
Sociology is the study of human social activity, relationships, and social structures. Studying sociology you will learn a number of skills including the use of evidence to support your arguments, how to investigate facts and critical thinking. It is relevant to the society you live in so you are bound to enjoy learning about topics that are relevant to everyday life; plus it opens the door to a fantastic range of interesting careers.

Assessment Structure:
Sociology is an exam only subject with two exams at the end of year 11.

• Written exam: 1 hour 45 minutes
• 100 marks
• 50% of GCSE
