Empower - Teacher Development, Feedback, & Evaluation Platform
Over three years, the SCV35 Portrait of a Teacher Task Force studied best practices in teacher evaluation and identified ways to improve the district’s system. The previous model focused mainly on teacher actions and summative evaluations, with limited attention to growth or feedback. The new Development, Feedback, and Evaluation system emphasizes meaningful support and professional development to enhance teaching and improve student outcomes. All administrators and teachers will participate in training on this new system during the beginning of year trainings.
