C4 Columbus Area Career Connection

11th and 12th grade students at Seymour High School are given the opportunity to attend CTE courses at C4. Students must be on track towards achieving their high school diploma and passing core classes to be considered for this program. C4 offers a variety of CTE pathways in addition to pathways offered at SHS. These include Criminal Justice, Dental Careers, 3D Animation, Graphic Design, Robotics, Veterinary Careers, Radio & TV, Automotive Technology, Cosmetology & Barbering, Architecture, and more! Classes take up two of the four blocks in a student's daily schedule. 

Every year, 10th graders interested in C4 may attend a field trip to tour the C4 schools (Columbus East, Columbus North, and McDowell Education Center.) On this tour, students are able to see all the programs offered. If students are interested in attending, they are encouraged to communicate with their high school counselor regarding their 11th grade schedule. Transportation to and from C4 is arranged by SHS, with the exception of Cosmetology & Barbering students.
