Scoil Mhuire gan Smál is a Catholic primary school providing education to pupils from Junior Infants to Sixth class. In addition to our mainstream classes, we have three special classes for children with autism (Réaltaí Beaga, Sonas and Le Chéile). Our school is co educational from Junior Infants to First class, with boys transferring to Graignamanagh Boys National School for Second class. As a designated DEIS rural school, we benefit from additional funding for initiatives to improve literacy , numeracy and attendance levels.
