Grow At School

Scoil Mhuire gan Smál  has been selected as one of the 30 pilot schools across Ireland to take part in the Grow at School programme.

Funding has been provided from The Community Foundation Ireland and the organisation Grow It Yourself is piloting this research programme for the next three years (2019-2021).

Our school received four raised beds,  a specifically designed garden plan and associated curriculum resources. As part of the research programme , our school will be tracked over the three year period. Online surveys will be completed and the lead teacher will record progress with a weekly digital diary.

This is an exciting initiative and we are all looking forward to taking part.
