Pirila is a presidential republic ruled by a militaristic leader. Located in central Toltecan between Tabaria and Salino, its capital city is the southern city of Yavizi. The services industry and an optimal location as a center of trade create a majority of the Pirilan economy's profits. Another important part of the economy is the fishing industry operating off of the northern coast. This industry often finds itself in conflict due to fighting over the fishing rights of the profitable waters bordering Pirila, Tabaria, and Mirizal.
Regions
Central
Pirila is not differentiated into any major regions. The country is largely reliant on services and trade to support its economy. Major industries include banking, insurance, and freight transport. The temperate climate of the region is good for growing crops, but agriculture has fallen to the wayside as other industries grow, although the excellent fishing conditions off the coast are still very profitable and often a source of conflict between Pirila and its neighbors.

What drives us pirilian is the wellfare of all people born in our ground. For Pirila the collective body is the greatest good of a country and it must be protected at all costs against individualistic ideologyes. Empathy and a sense of belonging is in the hearts of all citizens. Every woman, man, juvenile, elderly and child are forged under the values of labor.
In the year 1872, Pirila went through what has been known as "The great hunger", since then our nation has been proudly reinventing itself and its regime structure is about to celebrate 150 years old.
Being a small nation in size and seeking to maximize the use of our resources, Pirila found itself in need of protection and order, which is why we've had such empowerment of military institutions and culture.
Nowadays, there's a parcel of the population that cannot adapt to their roles and there's a strong migratory issue.
There's a strong sense of community and collectiveness. Pirila is highly militarized and all citizens above 20 must enlist in the army, aeronautics, or navy for at least 2 years. Culturally Pirila is strongly connected to the sea and its influence can be seen in the country's main diet (seafood and fish are in the main traditional dishes), parties and holidays, arts and crafts, architecture, etc.

Week 2 - Resource Usage
(describe internal resource usage and allocation policy here - requirements will be posted on the Events page in Week 2)
What resources do you have?
Pirila is rich in food, mainly seafood and fish. The country is the legitimate holder of fishing rights in profitable waters.
What resources do you want to have and why?
Where can you get these resources (can you find or develop these resources internally or will you need to trade for them)?
How do your institutions, governance style, and internal country politics help or hinder your ability to find, distribute, and use resources?
For example, are there ministries of mining/agriculture/science that will allow you to find the resources? Will your governance style allow you to quickly implement your decisions, or will you need to convince the public to vote for these policies? Do your internal regions get along and will they favor/disfavor your decisions? Can you influence them?
Week 4 - Energy Policy
Where does your energy come from and where does it go?
How would you like to change your energy usage?
Week 6 - Natural Hazards Policy
2. Priorize seus riscos. Quais são os mais importantes para mitigar?
Tsunamis, Atividade Vulcânica e Terremotos.
