All teachers at DSST must be "in-field" in the subject they teach. This document will help you navigate your in-field status, testing and credit requirements by subject as endorsed by the CDE requirements.

DSST Induction Program
Teachers requiring re-certification at DSST will need to complete the DSST Induction Program. Documentation of this program is required for teachers who are applying for their Teaching License with the CDE.

To obtain a DSST Teacher Induction Certificate, Teachers will need to kindly please complete the following:
1.) Track your Professional Development hours using the DSST Professional Development Tracker 24-25 (Make a Copy) and have your manager review and sign.
2.) Upload the signed Professional Development Tracker to your Workday Worker Documents (link to guide).
3.) Email humanresources@scienceandtech.org that you've completed the above steps and the HR Team will issue the Induction Program Completion Certificate.
