Apprentice Teachers

Look out for emails from Ellen Dupart and Relay over the next few months to ensure you are set to start in July!

Before You Arrive:

1. Enroll in and start your Relay GSE coursework

2. Complete and submit your fingerprint background check by June 24th

3. Fill out your Get to Know You Survey (in email from Ellen)

First Day:

• When: Tuesday, July 23rd, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (sign in starts at 7:30)

• Food: Coffee, snacks, and lunch will be provided

• Where: DSST: Conservatory Green High School

  • 5590 Central Park Blvd Building 4, Denver, CO 80238

  • Note: The parking at CGHS can be tricky! There are multiple small parking lots and street parking. Plan to arrive early in case you need to walk.

• Attire: Please wear College and Career Gear (rock the college or university you attended, the military branch in which you served, or the trade school or industry you worked in prior to joining DSST). Jeans, khakis, sundresses, t-shirts, open-toed shoes or sneakers are welcome. Denver’s summer weather can be hot but please consider bringing multiple layers (i.e. sweaters, blazers, wraps) as some rooms can be cold due to the air conditioning 

Second Day:

• When: Wednesday, July 24th, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (sign in starts at 7:30)

• Food: Coffee, snacks, and lunch will be provided

• AT Lunch & Learn: We will all eat together to get to know one another and discuss program details

• Where: DSST: Montview Middle School

  • 2000 Valentia St, Denver, CO 80238 

• Attire: Casual - Jeans, khakis, sundresses, t-shirts, open-toed shoes or sneakers are welcome. Denver’s summer weather can be hot but please consider bringing multiple layers (i.e. sweaters, blazers, wraps) as some rooms can be cold due to the air conditioning
