The Bay Area Trip was an experience that could truly never be remade. We visited colleges such as Stanford, San Francisco State, UC Berkeley, Santa Clara University, and CSU Monterey Bay University. The goal was for students to be able to know what they are looking for in order to see firsthand which type of university that works best for them. By going to different campuses and getting somewhat of an understanding of the differences each school has, students are able to decide whether or not they may want to go to a state school, private, or even a school that is out of state. The trip was also a very big bonding experience for the entire class in which people learned new things about each other. Students were able to start new relationships with peers which would never have happened otherwise. The trip brought everyone together in a way that truly made us a family.

My class and I had an amazing opportunity to have a tour around San Diego State University. Our tour included seeing the library the gym/weight room and enjoying the campus sites all around the school. SDSU is a beautiful campus with more than 33,000 students who attend there. My favorite spot on the tour would have to be the library because it was huge with many interesting things in it to see and read. After the tour we had about an hour to split up in groups to explore ourselves. We first went to go grab a bite to eat and then we walked around looking at all the clubs and activities you can join and do. Overall I had a fun time on the tour and would love to go again in the future!
