The GRIEA (Gender, Race, Inclusion, Equity, and Allyship) Project workshop series centers on celebrating diversity and inclusion within NYC government, facilitating raw discussions about race and gender to address the creation of an equitable society. The workshop series spotlights cutting edge DEI practices and covers key diversity, equity, & inclusion topics to include Intersectionality, the dimensions of racism, application of a gender lens, racial equity consciousness, the social behavior change process, and more.
Each workshop is designed to help nurture cultural sensitivity, promote inclusion, address unconscious bias, and promote diverse perspectives within a safe environment. In addition, workshops may cover interview topics from The GRIEA Project podcast series, which seeks to broaden listeners perspectives on current DEI issues. The GRIEA Project workshop not only offers a unique opportunity to obtain information and resources but stimulate today’s conversations when it comes to talking about ones DEIB journey.
