The Office of Organizational Development, Talent, and Culture in the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging portfolio is thrilled to announce registration is now live for our 2nd Annual Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) conference, scheduled for Friday, July 28th at Hunter College from 9:00AM – 4:00PM!
This year's conference theme is Freedom Dreaming. The conference will uplift promising practices from DEIB leaders and will include workshops, keynote speakers, community building, and recognition of individuals and teams committed to ensuring an equitable school system. Conference highlights include: a student/teacher panel discussion, student performances, recognition of DEIB leaders within the DOE, dynamic special guest speakers Dr. Asya Johnson and Dr. Karen Baptiste.
