The Battery Park City School library is dedicated to be a place where everyone feels safe, welcomed, and engaged.
It is a place where our school’s focus on respect and appreciation of human and earthly diversity, and preservation and restoration of our planet’s health are expressed and explored in multiple ways - through reading options, lessons, special events, inquiry projects, and lunch clubs to name a few.
Students are encouraged to actively cultivate this space as a hub for critical thinking that would empower them as learners, creators, and unique individuals.
