Microsoft Software Available to NYC Public Families:
As of February 4th, 2016 parents and guardians are able to download Microsoft software. This Microsoft product is only available to parents or guardians who have students that are attending the NYC Public and Charter Schools. Non Public Schools (e.g. Private or Catholic) are exempt.
* Parents/Guardians must create a StudentOffice.net account in order to download the software.
* The free Microsoft Products and features that will be available include:
* Office 2016 Home Use on Windows: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Access, InfoPath and Publisher
* Office for Mac Professional 2016: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote
* Office for iPad, iPhone, Android: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote
1. The URL to download the Microsoft Software is https://studentoffice.net
1. You must use the primary parent/guardian that is listed on the students Blue Card.
While a student may have numerous adults listed in their file, only one adult per child is in the system. Parents should try alternate phone numbers e.g. Home phone, other “01” person’s cell number, Old/New cell phone, Office number.
2. The birth date should be in the following format: Month, Day, Year e.g. 02/28/2002.
When downloading/ installing Office you should enter an email address. The email address you should enter is the Account Name for the Studentoffice.net account you created. The Account Name will be in this format: xxxxxx@studentoffice.net
