Notice Regarding the Transferring or Destruction of Records :
Each student’s records may be considered “no longer needed to provide educational services” and may be destroyed three years after the student completes or transfers from Scholar Academy or three years after the student turns 22 under the IDEA. Medicaid requires that records be maintained for at least five years after the provision of services.

Pledge of Allegience Laws
Scholar Academy teachers follow Utah Rule R277-475. Concerning Patriotic, Civic and Character Education by:
"At least once a year students shall be instructed that:
- participation in the Pledge of Allegiance is voluntary and not compulsory;
- it is acceptable for an individual to choose not to participate in the Pledge of Allegiance for religious or other reasons; and
- students should show respect for individuals who participate and individuals who choose not to participate.
