Week Three (March 30-April 3)

3 minute daily prayer (Click on "Start Your Retreat")


Math: Please log into google classroom and click on the assignment titled "4-1: Camping Fractions Projects." You do NOT need to complete this entire project in one day. There are 6 total slides with questions on them, and I am going to have you complete 2 of those slides each day. So for today, the only slides you will be responsible for completing are slides 1 and 2. All that you need to do to complete each question is click on the area that says "Type your answer here." After you click on that, erase the text, and replace it with your answer to each question.


Reading: Please log into google classroom and click on the document titled "A World Without Rules." Read the story by clicking on each page number in order. Then, complete 2 of your spellingcity assignments for the week. Please complete 20 minutes of AR time tonight as well.


Social studies: Please use today to finish your activities from last week. They can be found in google classroom under the document titled "Mr. Webb's Erie Canal and Transportation Systems Webquest."


Science: Today you will be taking your Unit 5 tests. Please log into google classroom and click on the assignment titled "Unit 5 test." Make sure you submit it when you are done so I can give you a grade on it.


Language Arts: Please log into google classroom and complete the assignment titled "April Fool's Day-Part 1." Instructions will be posted in the assignment once you open it up.


Religion: Please see Miss Luersman's page. Miss Luersman has set up a google classroom for Religion. If you go to where you would normally find my google classroom, you should also see one titled "4-1 Religion Class." Please log into this as soon as possible!


Specials: Please see Mrs. Daley's page.

Reading: Please open your big green Wonders books to page 270 and read the story "See How They Run." Then, please complete two of your SpellingCity assignments for the week. Please complete 20 minutes of AR time tonight as well.


Social Studies: Please log into google classroom and click on the video titled "Changes in Transportation in the 1800s-Video." While you watch the video, please have the other document from google classroom (Changes in Transportation in the Early 1800s-Questions) opened up. Please complete the questions from the video (the questions go in order) and then share your answers with me through google classroom so I can see them.


Science: Please log on to google classroom, and click on the document titled "6-1: What Are Solids, Liquids and Gases?" Please read through pages 251-256. Do not worry about answering the questions for now (since you cannot physically write the answers in the document that you are reading.) Instead, I will create an assignment for you to complete through google forms after we get through this lesson.


Language Arts: Using your "April Fool's Day Part 1" lists from yesterday, you will now make your actual writings about an April Fool's Day joke that you played on someone else, or that someone else played on you. Please log into google classroom and click on the assignment titled "April Fool's Day Part 2." Instructions will be written in the assignment. You will have today and tomorrow to complete this assignment.

Math: Those of you who have not yet finished your Camping Fractions projects may use today to do so. If you are already finished, I have created for you to complete on Prodigy. You will have today and tomorrow to complete it. There are 20 questions in total, and all of them will be over multiplying fractions by whole numbers. This will be a great review as your chapter 8 tests will be coming up early next week!


Reading: Please log into google classroom and click on the assignment titled "See How They Run Practice Test." This test will be used to help you prepare for your actual test over the story tomorrow. Please make sure all of your spellingcity assignments for the week have been completed. Please complete 20 minutes of AR time tonight as well.


Science: Please log on to google classroom, and click on the document titled "6-1: What Are Solids, Liquids and Gases?" Please read through pages 257-261. Do not worry about answering the questions for now (since you cannot physically write the answers in the document that you are reading.) Instead, I will create an assignment for you to complete through google forms after we get through this lesson.

When you open this document, you will see instructions with screenshots that will show you how to access your future science lessons (and assignments) online! Please follow the instructions to log in and view your lesson, and go through Unit 6 Lesson 1.
