3 minute daily prayer (Click on "Start Your Retreat")


Math: Please log on to ThinkCentral and do your online math lesson and homework for 9-5.


Reading: Log onto google classroom, and click on the document titled "A Telephone Mix-Up." Please read the story, and then complete 2 of your SpellingCity assignments for the week. Please make sure you are working towards your 4th quarter AR goals by reading 20 minutes of AR each night!


Science: Please log in to google classroom and click on the assignment titled "April 16: How to access online science lessons and assignments." When you open this document, you will see instructions with screenshots that will show you how to access your science lessons online. Please follow the instructions to log in and view your lesson, and go through Unit 6, Lesson 5. The instructions in this document show you how to access Unit 6, Lesson 3. This was the lesson we did last week. Follow those same instructions to access Unit 6, Lesson 5 for this week. Feel free to click on the variety of different tools and resources that the lesson offers for you. There are many great videos in this online lesson!


Social Studies: Please log into google classroom, and open up your assignment from last week titled "My immigration story." Please complete slides 5-7. For slide 5, go to the website from the link at the bottom of slide 2. Once you are there, click on the number 2. When you do, the top should say "2nd Stop-The Arrival," which are the same words at the top of slide 5. Use this page to answer the questions on slide 5. Similarly, you will use the information from "3rd Stop-The Ellis Island Baggage Room" to complete slide 6, and you will use the information from"4th Stop-The Stairs to the Registry Room" to complete slide 7.


Language Arts: Please click here to watch a video over "Point of View." Then, go to google classroom and click on the assignment titled "Mr. Webb's "Point of View" activity." Please use the video to help you complete this assignment. You may watch the video as many times as you'd like! The directions on each slide are located at the top righthand corner of the slide. To zoom in and out of the slide to read it better, click on the magnifying glass underneath the word "insert." All you need to do is drag each definition and match it to the appropriate point of view.


Religion: Please see Miss Luersman's page. Miss Luersman has set up a google classroom for Religion. If you go to where you would normally find my google classroom, you should also see one titled "4-1 Religion Class." Please log into this as soon as possible!

Math: Please log into google classroom and click on the assignment titled "Math-Fraction and decimals review-April 21, 2020." Please complete the directions on each slide. Make sure you submit the assignment when you are done.


Reading: Please open up your big green Wonders books to the story "The Moon Over Star." I am not sure exactly which page the story starts on, but if you look at the front of your books in the table of contents, it is the story under unit 4, week 3. Read this story, and then complete 2 more of your spellingcity assignments for the week. Please make sure you are working towards your 4th quarter AR goals by reading 20 minutes of AR each night!


Science: Please log into google classroom and click on the document titled "6-5 pdf." You may use these pages, along with the 6-5 online lesson from yesterday to help you answer the questions on the other document in google classroom titled "6-5 questions." Also, we are going to be having our unit 6 tests on Tuesday of next week. I will be posting a study guide in google classroom. Please begin to study it as soon as possible so that you are ready to go for your test on Tuesday!

Language Arts: We are going to continue learning about point of view. Please log into google classroom and click on the assignment titled "Mr. Webb's Point of View Activity-Part 2." On each slide, there will be a different picture. You will be required to write a paragraph of at least 6 sentences in the point of view that each slide is asking you for. Please click here to check out some examples before you start.

Reading: Please reread the story "The Moon Over Star" in your big green Wonders books. Then, log into google classroom and click on the assignment titled "The Moon Over Star-Practice Test." Make sure that you submit it when you are done. Then, finish up your spellingcity assignments for the week. Please make sure you are working towards your 4th quarter AR goals by reading 20 minutes of AR each night!

For slide 11, go to the website from the bottom of slide 2. Once you are there, click on the number 8. When you do, the top should say "8th stop-Detainees," which are the same words at the top of slide 11. Use this page to answer the questions on slide 11. Similarly, you will use the information from the 9th and 10th stops to complete the questions on slides 12 and 13.


Language Arts: Please log into edmentum and complete the assignment titled "Capital Cuisine." Make sure you complete the lesson, the practice, and the quiz.
