Monday, May 4, 2020 (This week is Virtual Positive Addiction Week!)
Positive Addiction - Wear your favorite team shirt or jersey today. Today's theme is "Teaming up with a trusted adult to share wisdom and strategies for success." Watch this video .
3 minute daily prayer (Click on "Start Your Retreat")
Math: Please log into ThinkCentral and complete the assignment titled, "Chapter 10 pretest." Please make sure you submit the assignment when you are done with it.
Reading: Please log into google classroom and click on the document titled, "Shiloh-Chapter 7-Mr. Webb's Copy." Then, you can listen to the read aloud of the story by clicking here and here. You can stop the video once you are done with chapter 7. Then, go to google classroom and click on the assignment titled, "Shiloh-Chapter 7 questions-Mr. Webb's Copy." Make sure you submit these questions when you are done-you may use the reading to help you. Please make sure you are working towards your 4th quarter AR goals by reading for 20 minutes each night! Remember, you can now take your tests just like you would access them if we were at the school!
Social Studies: Please go onto google classroom, and click on the document titled "Chapter 7 Vocabulary Words." This assignment will essentially replace the vocab worksheets that we do in class at the beginning of a new chapter. Instructions on how to complete this assignment will be found on slide 1 of the document once you open it. You will have today and tomorrow to complete this assignment.
Science: Please log onto google classroom and click on the document titled, "Health-Communicable and Noncommunicable diseases- pdf" and read pages 3 and 4. Do not worry about answering any of the questions that go along with the reading quite yet-that will be your assignment for tomorrow.
Language Arts: On Sunday of next week, we will be celebrating Mother's Day! It is going to be your job this week to create something for your mother, grandmothers, godmothers, those women in your life that are like second mothers, or any other motherly figure who is important in your life! I will post ideas for your Mother's Day project in google classroom. You may use these ideas, or your own.
Religion: Please see Miss Luersman's page. Miss Luersman has set up a google classroom for Religion. If you go to where you would normally find my google classroom, you should also see one titled "4-1 Religion Class." Please log into this as soon as possible!

Friday, May 8, 2020 (Catch up day; no homework.)
Positive Addiction - Today, let's show our school spirit by wearing a retro Positive Addiction shirt (one from a previous year) or by wearing our school colors! Also, wear some "shades" (sunglasses). Today's theme is "MAKE HEALTHY, POSITIVE CHOICES! LET’S SHADE OUT DRUGS."
Virtual Race Day!
Car Parade: We miss our school families! From 3:00-4:30 TODAY the faculty and staff of St. Charles will be stationed around the outside of the school building. We would love for our families to hop in their cars and drive through the parking lot (see attached map) so we can safely see each other! For the safety of everyone we ask that you remain in your vehicles during the parade. We are excited for the opportunity to see you!
