3 minute daily prayer (Click on "Start Your Retreat")


Math: Please log into ThinkCentral and complete your 9-2 online lesson and homework assignment.


Reading: Please log onto google classroom and click on the activity titled "Save The Turtles-Reading Passage." When you open the document, if you click on the magnifying glass located towards the top lefthand corner of the document (underneath the word "insert,") you can zoom in and out of the slides so that you can read the words more clearly. Please read through the passage on slides 1-6. While you are reading, you will be asked to drag certain shapes and colors to different parts of the reading to highlight or circle answers. Just click on the shape and drag it over the answer. This will be found on the right hand side of each slide. Then, on slide 7, you will see four turtles, each with a voice bubble saying "type here." I want you to fill these text boxes with facts about sea turtles from the text. Make sure to put the facts in your own words. Make sure to choose the facts that you feel are the most important from the story. You will have today and tomorrow to complete this assignment.


Social Studies: Please read Chapter 6, lesson 2 in your social studies books on pages 164-169.


Language Arts: Please log into Edmentum and complete the lesson and assignment over frequently confused words. It is titled "Off the Hook."


Religion: Please see Miss Luersman's page. Miss Luersman has set up a google classroom for Religion. If you go to where you would normally find my google classroom, you should also see one titled "4-1 Religion Class." Please log into this as soon as possible!


Specials: Please see Mrs. Daley's page.

Math: Please log into ThinkCentral and complete your 9-3 online lesson and homework assignment.


Reading: Please complete your assignment from yesterday over the passage "Save the Turtles." Make sure you are following the instructions on the righthand side of each slide, and make sure that you complete the voice bubbles on slide 7 with the facts from the story that you believe are the most important. Please make sure you submit this assignment by the end of the day.


Science: Please log in to google classroom and click on the assignment titled "April 16: How to access online science lessons and assignments." When you open this document, you will see instructions with screenshots that will show you how to access your science lessons online. Please follow the instructions to log in and view your lesson, and go through Unit 6, Lesson 3. Feel free to click on the variety of different tools and resources that the lesson offers for you. There are many great videos in this online lesson!


Language Arts: Please use today to read the Scholastic article titled "What a Waste!" To access it, please click here to go to the Scholastic website. I will post the login information and other instructions for how to access this assignment on google classroom.


Religion: Please see Miss Luersman's page. Miss Luersman has set up a google classroom for Religion. If you go to where you would normally find my google classroom, you should also see one titled "4-1 Religion Class." Please log into this as soon as possible!

Math: Please log into ThinkCentral and complete your 9-4 online lesson and homework assignment.


Reading: Please log in to google classroom and click on the assignment titled "Save the Sea Turtles-Questions." Use the story to answer the questions, and then submit them when you are done.


Science: Please log on to google classroom and click on the document titled "6-3: How Does Matter Change? - pdf file." Once you open this, please use it to help you answer the questions posted in another document on google classroom titled "6-3: How Does Matter Change? - Questions." Please submit your responses when you are finished.


Language Arts: Please log into Edmentum and complete the lesson and assignment over punctuation. It is titled "Comma construction."


Social studies: Log onto google classroom and click on the assignment titled "My immigration story." On slide 1, please put your name where it says "By: ____________." For slide 2, please follow the instructions on the page, and click the link at the bottom of the slide. For slide 3, this is information that YOU get to choose (you will not find it on the link from slide 2; it is YOUR decision as far as what country you are from, who you are traveling with, why you are leaving your home country, and what you and your family's plans are once you reach America.) For slide 4, you will need to use the website from the link on slide 2 to answer the questions. When you click on the link, it will take you to a website that says "Interactive Tour of Ellis Island." You need to click on the number 1 at the bottom of the page because it will take you to a page titled "The Passage." This is where you will find the answers to the questions on slide 4. Be sure to use the story and the photos for help!
