The state and federal programs resource page is a comprehensive, easy to navigate source of information for all the programs, grants, and plans supported or managed by the Santa Clara County Office of Education's State and Federal team. The intended audience for this page includes persons responsible for developing plans, monitoring implementation & expenditures, and ensuring deadlines are met in conjunction with fiscal oversight teams, as well as those providing technical assistance, support, and PD to LEAs, district leaders, and educational partners.

The Programs, Grants, and Plans section provides information on use of funds, program and reporting requirements, resources, and helpful links.
In California, there are approximately 1,009,066 English Learners in public schools, representing 17.4% of the total student enrollment. To support the unique needs of this student group, there are federal and state funding, programs, and requirements for LEAs and charters. This section is meant to provide the information needed to successfully and equitably support California's multilingual learners English language proficiency, academic, and SEL/wellness needs.
