• PTSA Reflections Contest

Each year students make work surrounding a theme.  Entries are accepted in visual arts as well as creative writing, music and dance.  The contest starts at the district level and eventually is a Nationwide contest.  Look here for more information. 

• ChannelKeeper Student Art Show due mid April

This contest celebrates the connection between young people and the ocean.

• International Sister Cities Young Artists + Authors Showcase and Competition due mid April

The theme changes every year. In 2024, it was "Climatescapes: Resilient Cities for Tomorrow's Climate." “Peace by Piece Food Security in my Community” was the theme in 2023. 

• Santa Barbara Scholarship Foundation Arts Scholarships 

Applications are due November 15.  Each year, about twenty local high school students win awards based on their art and interest in pursuing careers in design fields.  Visit sbscholarship.org  for more information.
