I love to travel and being an Army brat, I have lived in 10 states and 3 countries. My cats, Thunder and Lightning, were born in Houghton, NY, and are not good travelers. They're homebodies who love spending time outside in their catio, even on rainy days.
I love being part of the DP community! This is my fourth year here. I've taught many grades and subjects over the years—from Kindergarten to high school art and subjects like science and English. Before teaching here, I was the art teacher at Foothill Elementary & Goleta Family School for a year.
I've loved art since junior high! My teacher, Ms. Benveniste, at the American International School in Israel inspired me to become an art teacher. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education from Houghton University and my Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) from Grand Canyon University.
