Saydel Strategic Plan

Targeted Strategy 2: Collaborative Partnerships and Relationships

As an identified strength for our district, collaborative partnerships and relationships will continue to be an area of focus for greater system efficacy and overall results. In pursuing a strengths-based approach to comprehensive school improvement, we seek to harness high leverage characteristics in moving from “good to great” as an organization. This includes internal collaborative relationships, i.e. student-staff, parent-staff, and staff-staff as well as for external collaborative partnerships with school-community and business partnerships. Within these collaborative partnerships, we are committed to working diligently in building leadership capacity in efforts to distribute and share stewardship of district governance, for greater results for our organization.

In living out a collaborative partnership philosophy we wholeheartedly believe we are better together, as a team, than we can ever be as independent entities.

System for Teacher and Student Advancement (TAP): TAP Leadership Team (TLT) & Clusters will serve as the foundational structure for our professional learning framework. We will increase implementation levels for the TAP system, hence maturing our teacher leadership paradigm/philosophy in growing our capacity to produce greater results.

      • TAP System:

          • Cluster

          • TLT & DLT

      • Job Embedded Professional Learning: Implement Job embedded professional learning principles which include:

          • Timely

          • Relative

          • Prepares for next level of performance

          • Multi-layered/scaffolded

          • Collective (actions)
