The Functional Materials Group covers all aspects of the fabrication, characterization, and applications of materials primarily of interest for their electronic, optical, and thermal properties. The applications are wide-ranging, including energy, environment, affordable water, electrochemical sensor, photocatalysis, and electrocatalysis. We specialize in electrochemical energy conversion, storage, sensor materials in healthcare, seawater to drinkable, hydrogen fuel. We are a multidisciplinary young and energetic research team trying to offer solutions to social-related issues.
