Department of Functional Materials organized a workshop on Exploring Overseas Education Opportunities. It was held on 7th March 2024, in Lines Seminar Hall at 2.00 PM. It was highly informative and inspiring. Students gained valuable insights into various career paths, study abroad options, and strategies for making informed decisions about their future. The experienced speakers shared their expertise and provided practical advice on navigating the complexities of career planning and international education. Workshop content: (i) Why Overseas Education (ii)  Overview of Scholarships (iii) Study Abroad Information; Country Wise (iv) Destination Matrix; Course details and Fee structure (v) Selection of Courses and University, and (vi) Application process. 

Dr R Lavanya, Executive Director, Challas Outsourcing Pvt Ltd started the session with the question – ‘Why Overseas Education?’. She explained various global career opportunities. Students were told about Campus entry, competitive exams to appear namely GRE, TOEFL, IELTS etc and which country needs which of this exam qualification.
